Connected by Our Past, Building the Future Together
The SJISC Alumni Association UK brings together former students of Shahjalal Jamia Islamia School and College who now live across the United Kingdom. We are part of the wider Jamia Alumni Network, a global community united by the values of knowledge, character and service.
Our association provides a welcoming space for Jamians from different generations to reconnect, strengthen friendships and support one another. Whether someone left Jamia recently or many years ago, their connection to the school remains an important part of our shared identity.
Heritage
Our Story
The SJISC Alumni Association UK began a new chapter with its inaugural Annual General Meeting and Executive Council election in London in October 2025. Alumni participated both in person and online, establishing the association’s first elected leadership and creating a stronger foundation for the Jamian community in the UK.
Since then, the association has worked to bring alumni together through community gatherings, professional discussions, sporting activities, networking and shared initiatives. Our aim is not only to celebrate the memories that connect us, but also to create meaningful opportunities for collaboration and service.

Mission and vision
Mission
Our mission is to build an active, inclusive and supportive alumni community where Jamians can reconnect, exchange knowledge, develop professional relationships and contribute positively to society.
We also seek to strengthen the relationship between former students, current students and Shahjalal Jamia Islamia School and College by encouraging guidance, mentoring and community support. The wider alumni network places particular emphasis on information, advice and guidance that can help students become informed and capable graduates.
Vision
Our vision is to create a lasting UK alumni network that connects generations of Jamians and carries forward the values developed during their time at Jamia.
We want every UK-based Jamian to feel welcomed, valued and able to contribute, regardless of their batch, profession or location.
